Pardina lentil grown in Guadalajara. Small size and characteristic brown shade. Tender texture and light taste. They do not need to be soaked before boiling. Lentils have a high content of proteins, vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, B6, C and E) and minerals as magnesium, zinc, selenium, potassium, phosphorus, calcium and iron. Quite rich in fibre.

Pardina lentil do not need prevoius soaking. Put them in a pan with cold water and let them boil. Boiling has to be mild and continuous. Boiling time: 35-45 minutes.
Keep in a cool and dry place.
